Leeds Mobile is teaming up with RevenueCat to host an official Shipaton IRL event at Lloyds Banking Group's Wellington Place offices on Wednesday 30 September 2026. Shipaton is billed as the world's biggest mobile hackathon for people who actually ship — this in-person gathering is the Leeds node of that global event, focused on sharing what you've been building, swapping ideas, and hearing from fellow developers in the community.

Matt Heaney, a Developer Support Engineer at RevenueCat, will be on hand throughout the evening to answer questions about launching apps, shipping to the App Store and Google Play, monetisation strategy, and anything else blocking your project from going live. Whether you're entered for one of the global Shipaton prize categories or just want to talk shop with other mobile builders, the format is deliberately informal: food arrives at 17:30, structured talks run from 18:00, and the event wraps at 19:00 with optional drinks at a nearby pub.
