Product Assembly is running a lunchtime Lean Coffee session at Channel 4's Leeds headquarters in the Majestic building, City Square, on Wednesday 1 July 2026, 12:00–1:00 PM BST. The format is deliberately unstructured: no pre-set agenda, no slides. Attendees vote on the topics they want to discuss, and the conversation follows from there. Coffee, tea and nibbles are provided.
Lean Coffee works by letting the room surface what actually matters to them that week. Bring a question you're stuck on, a decision you're wrestling with, or just curiosity about how other product people work. The session runs for one hour, which keeps things tight. It's aimed at product managers, product owners, UX designers, user researchers, delivery managers, business analysts, agile coaches, scrum masters and tech leaders — anyone working in or adjacent to product.
This is a collaboration between Product Assembly and Channel 4. Channel 4 relocated its headquarters to Leeds in 2023, taking up residence in the Majestic, the Grade II listed building directly opposite Leeds City Station. They are using the space to connect with the city's grassroots tech and product communities. Product Assembly runs regular events across Leeds — talks, workshops and now these lunchtime sessions — to keep the local product community in conversation between its larger gatherings. The Lunchtime Lean Coffee series is explicitly designed to fill the gaps between those bigger events, giving people a low-friction way to meet and talk during the working day rather than giving up an evening.
