The argument: AI tools promise velocity but often conflict with the maintainability that production software demands. Gil is a Senior Mobile Engineer who has scaled apps for millions of users at Tide and EE. He's a Flutter contributor and open-source maintainer with a background in theoretical physics.

Talk two: The Present & Future of AI in Mobile Software — Mark Wilcox, Principal Engineer at Olio, draws on 25 years in mobile software to map where AI is taking the industry. He looks at what's already happening with startups and early adopters, then considers hardware trends, model capabilities and the economics of AI to sketch out where things might land. Mark's view: the industry has changed more in the last six months than the previous ten years.
