What they do

Netcompany designs, builds and operates digital infrastructure for some of Europe's most demanding public sector and enterprise clients. Founded in Copenhagen in 2000, they have grown to more than 9,500 professionals across more than 10 countries, working across tax and customs, aviation, digital government, defence, and financial services.

The firm positions itself as tech-agnostic: they will recommend whatever combination of components and platforms best fits a client's needs, rather than defaulting to a preferred vendor. That said, they hold premier partner status with SAP and work closely with Microsoft, AWS, Oracle and Google on cloud delivery.

Their service catalogue runs the full IT lifecycle. The newest addition, Feniks AI, is an agentic AI framework they claim can reduce enterprise software development time by up to 45%.

Public sector work is central to what they do. They hold the contract for borger.dk, the Danish national public services portal, worth up to DKK 185 million over two years. They have a framework agreement with Oslo Municipality worth up to NOK 540 million to support digital services for 750,000 residents. In the UK, they worked with Smart DCC on energy switching infrastructure.

In 2025 they acquired full ownership of Smarter Airports, the company behind AIRHART, which serves as digital infrastructure for several of Europe's largest airports. They also announced a five-year co-title partnership with the INEOS Grenadiers cycling team, renaming it the Netcompany INEOS Cycling Team from the 2026 Giro d'Italia.

The UK operation shares a phone number and email domain with the London office, suggesting Leeds functions as a regional delivery hub rather than a standalone entity.

The UK business covers the same service lines as the wider group: IT consulting, system integration, cloud and infrastructure, cyber security, SAP solutions and application maintenance. Cyber Essentials Plus and ISO27001 certifications apply to the UK operation. For clients in the public sector or regulated industries in the North of England, the Wellington Place office provides a local point of contact backed by a firm with a substantial European delivery track record.

Netcompany does not publish headcount figures for individual offices.
