Aire Logic is a technology consultancy with its head office in central Leeds and a second office in Manchester. Founded in 2007, they describe themselves as having over 30 years of collective experience delivering health tech projects — a figure that reflects the combined careers of their clinical consultants and engineers rather than the company's own age.

The bulk of their work sits in the NHS. Case studies on their site include an EHR delivery partnership with The Christie NHS Foundation Trust (a contract renewed for two years in October 2024), digital pre-operative assessments for Leeds Teaching Hospitals, dietetics digitisation at Leeds Community Healthcare Trust, and a national-scale API management platform. They also worked with Leeds City Council on data during Covid-19 and hold a place on the Leeds City Council Augmentation Framework, awarded in January 2024.

Beyond the NHS, Aire Logic works with life sciences organisations, financial services clients and government. Their thought leadership in mid-2026 covers topics like large-scale data migration lessons from NHS delivery applied to financial services, and FHIR standards for private health insurers — signalling a deliberate push into private healthcare and financial services alongside their public sector core.

Services fall into three broad areas. First, agile delivery and DevOps: their team claim to have been the first to introduce agile software development at scale to national NHS systems. Second, data and analytics: the team has worked across healthcare, policing, machine learning, supply chains and image processing. Third, enterprise architecture and IT strategy, delivered through a methodology they call 'EA Light'. User-centred design sits alongside these as a named practice.

Aire Innovate, their sister company and platform product arm, offers a low-code platform used to digitise nursing documentation, patient engagement forms and demand management across primary, secondary and community care settings. In September 2024, Aire Logic certified as a B Corp. They are also an AWS partner. Both Aire Logic and Aire Innovate hold a place on the G-Cloud 14 framework, and in September 2025 they were appointed alongside Hippo and Kainos to support the NHS expansion of digital vaccination services.

What sets them apart

Aire Logic converted to employee ownership in May 2022. The structure is central to how they present themselves: staff have a financial stake in the business, there are described as "little to no management levels", and the company states it will turn down work that does not meet its ethics criteria — specifically asking whether a project is meaningful to the public, good for staff and good for the company's growth.

That selectivity shows up in their client list. Testimonials name Dr Taj Hassan at CAILTEC, Dr Louise Savic (a consultant anaesthetist and NIHR Doctoral Fellow building a drug allergy database), Dr Alwyn Kotze, and Alistair Reid-Pearson, CIO at The Christie, who cites openEHR modernisation as central to the trust's cancer research strategy. The openEHR standard appears repeatedly in their work, suggesting genuine depth in that particular interoperability approach rather than a passing mention.

On social value, Aire Logic has planted trees in West Park Leeds, invested in the UK's first shared solar park, partnered with Generation UK to widen access to IT careers, and won the Leeds Digital Festival Tech4Good (Services) Award in 2022. They publish a carbon reduction plan and run an internal giving programme that lets staff donate £250 per year to a registered charity of their choice.
